The Ivy League Connection program is a spectacular program for students who want to push their limits and challenge themselves. With this outstanding program students are able to broaden their perspectives and expand their horizons through the various courses it offers. Having academic and financial support from various prestigious schools from around the East Coast, students are able to challenge themselves through the different courses it offers varying from psychology, science, and math. 

The Ivy  League Connections Program would not be anywhere it is without it's biggest and most important supporter, Don Gosney. This determined warrior allows this program survive at its most vulnerable times. Having to deal with rowdy high school students from various schools throughout the West Contra Costa School Districts and his motivation to fight for the program's survival, shows his true dedication to this program. His endless efforts in being part of this program has allowed a numerous amount of students to challenge themselves and have an opportunity to succeed. This is shown by the fact that Ivy League Connection alumni tend to carry on to applying or going to schools from the East Coast.If it wasn't for Don Gosney I wouldn't be in this program going to Cornell's summer program in the east coast and I wouldn't be in this exact room in Deanza High School writing a blog about how amazing he is at what he does. Instead I would be at home doing something useless. Thanks to Don Gosney I am going to experience an amazing opportunity that will expand my horizon and change me for the better.
